MEAL PREP HACKS | ✿ vegan ✿

Hacks
Hello,

todays video is a little bit different but I hope you like it anyway.
I thought I would share some of my meal prep hacks which really make my life less complicated during the week. They save time and effort and are perfect for the ones who have a busy scedule. I personally don’t like to eat the same meal every day, so I came up with some little time savers instead of completely precooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners. If you enjoyed the video, please give it a thumbs up and don’t forget to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out any new videos.

love, Leonie.

RECIPES:

✿ almond milk:

– 100g of almonds (soaked overnight)
– 1l of water
– 1 medjool date

blend everything in a highspeed blender and drain through a nut milk bag.

✿ rasberry jam:

– defrosted rasberries
– chia seeds
– maple syrup
– dash of lemon juice

mix everything together and let it set until the chia seeds absorb most of the liquid and the mixture gets a jelly consistency.

You can find out how to use the jam in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUSniYlQOfI&t=342s

I would also recommend to prepare other dips and sauces like hummus or an easy cheese sauce.

✿ pancakes:

– 1 cup flour (I used 1/2 oat and 1/2 cup buckwheat flour)
– 1 cup liquid (I used 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup almond milk)
– 1 banana
– tsp baking powder

blend everything together and cook in a non-stick pan.
Freeze them and put the pancakes in the toaster if you want to eat them.

✿ grains and legumes

cook grains and legumes in advance. If you want to eat them fresh, you can alternatively soak them to save half of the normal cooking time.

✿ veggies:

chop and peel all your vegetables you want to use during the week. Preparing a healthy meal gets so much more convenient this way.

✿ tofu:
