Thanks ,for doing this vedio. On happy cow.com is list of vegan resturents . We visited udon thai and they have four of them, we had mud fish vegan , it tasted the same, my thai wife has learned to cook it. Chiang mai has many vegan plant base resturents . Vegan and vegetarians are indifferent, vegan don't eat any animal products, vegetarian do . Thank you , will try that place some day.

My wife is vegan. I am not. When we eat out, I will eat meat. When we eat at home, I will not. We never eat 'fake' meat of any kind. We tried this at the beginning. But it doesn't taste the same. And it's also sort of counter to the point. There are so many vegan dishes which are fantastic just as they are. Take chick pea tacos for example. Pan fry some chick peas in flour, oil, spices. Then add them into a soft taco shell with whatever else you like. It's fantastic. That's one of tens of thousands of dishes that are easy, filling, and flavorful.

my ?famous? dish I make at home is scramble eggs. tofu worked fine with diced onion/garlic, and turmeric for color. it's really quite good. shame how people limit themselves from discovering new foods because of labeling? good stuff here Darren!

Cheers lol…yes Ananda is hooked on clinking spoons. And then he was right back to eating lol. He's always dressed so nice. So cute! He tried so hard to eat at the big table with his spoon. I thought he was going to get that big bite on his spoon into his mouth and then you edited! Drat…lol. Then he ended up with the food lowered. I've noticed you have a high chair at home but none of the restaurants you have eaten at appear to have high chairs. Is this true? And why is the rice sometimes white and pink grains too? Oh, and the food did look delish as always…but the main attraction is Ananda. He's getting so independent…and Aorn is able to eat more relaxed 😉 35B for soup whether it's clear, noodles or noodles and veg/meat sub is insane and wonderful at the same time. GREAT VID again!

Great alternative for the non meat eaters, all looked great though and probably don't even notice you have no meat in the dishes.

There used to be a roti shop across from the vegan restaurant and a few doors to the right that made fantastic roti – not the usual ones with banana and all that sugary stuff on it. They served it plain with hot curry on the side. So damn good! Sadlly it closed down about 2 years ago.
Back to the markets get some fried goodness!!!

That's where I go for breakfast when in Krabi Town. Basic stir fry veggies and rice. Pretty good and cheap.
